Christmas Day
We asked the girls as they went to bed the night before to come to our room before they go out to the living room. They got up at 6:30 and woke us up. I went out first to get the cameras ready. Oh, the faces and the reactions were priceless. The girls couldn't believe that he really came and even left them a thank-you note. "Santa liked our treats!" Actually, mom and dad did :)
We asked them to open the skirts Carol made for them before anything else. My dear wife spent a lot of nights cutting, ironing, and sewing those skirts and I wanted it to be special. Gracia has worn hers every day since.
The girls spent the rest of the day enjoying their presents from family and friends. We visited Carol's parents later in the day for Christmas dinner with the rest of the family. A merry Christmas it was.
